DESCRIPTION:The Forres Heritage Trust has two buildings open for Moray Door
 s Open Day.\n\nThe Tolbooth – 12-4pm\n\nDelve into the past on this whis
 tle stop tour of the Tolbooth. You will start your visit old police office
 \, pop into the cells\, get a glimpse of the court room and step out on to
  the parapet of the clocktower to enjoy the beautiful views across the tow
 n of Forres.\n\nGuided tours will be on a first come\, first served basis 
 and numbers will be limited to six per tour. Please be patient with the vo
 lunteers at busy times. This will be a truncated version of the full tour 
 which can be booked for a fee if you wish.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNelson’s Tower 
 – 12-4pm\n\nCome and conquer Nelson's Tower and enjoy one of the best vi
 ews across Moray. Completed in 1812 in memory of Admiral Nelson\, the towe
 r offers fantastic views over Forres and surrounds. With artefacts\, a chi
 ldren's quiz and volunteers on hand to answer questions\, a visit to the T
 ower is a great trip out!\n\nForres Heritage Trust is responsible for the 
 management and maintenance of the Tolbooth and Nelson’s Tower in Forres 
 having taken over responsibility from the Council back in 2013.\n\n&nbsp\;
