As the seasonal opening of Nelson’s Tower draws to a close, we warmly invite you to a special evening event to mark the occasion.
Take in the breathtaking sunset views from the top of the tower and join us in raising a toast to Admiral Lord Nelson himself.
At 7:00pm, FHT volunteer Lily Carmichael will mark the moment with a stirring performance on the pipes as the flag is ceremonially lowered against the setting sun.
🕰️ Tour Details:
• Tours will run every 20 minutes starting at 6:30pm and subsequently 7.00, 7.30 and 8.00. Each tour costs £5pp
• The 7:00pm tour will include the official flag-lowering ceremony
• Each group will be led in a toast to Lord Nelson by a Trust volunteer upon descending the Tower
• Last entry is at 8:00pm
• Please note: Each time slot is limited to 8 people to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience

In the case of bad weather, a decision will be made at 4pm as to whether the evening will go ahead and we will contact attendees via TicketSource by 4.30pm.
It is recommended that you carry a good torch and wear suitable footwear for the walk-up Cluny Hill
Nelson’s Tower will officially close to the public on Sunday, September 28 at 4pm.
